3.1 Directly Provided Data

• Account Information: When you sign up via third-party providers (e.g., Facebook, Google, Apple), we receive your name, email address, and profile identifier.
• User-Generated Content: Ratings, reviews, and comments you submit.
• Contact Data: Email address (If you register an account through email).
• Photo Data: When you use the photo rating feature, we collect the photos you proactively upload, analyze their composition, lighting, color processing and other technical elements of photography through AI model, and generate a rating report with suggestions for improvement. Your photos will be used solely for this analysis task and will not be used for AI model training or other purposes. Your original photos will be automatically deleted after the rating is completed, while the report will be retained for your review. You can manually delete a single rating record in "History" or clear all records by deleting your account. Photo analysis is processed by a collaborative AI service provider (Claude), to whom we require through strict data protection protocols: (a) Processing data only as instructed;
  (b) Prohibiting retention or reuse of your photos;
  (c) Implementing GDPR-compliant encryption.
  If a photo contains human faces or other biometric features, the system may generate relevant photographic suggestions (e.g. “human figure composition improvement”). We do not extract or store biometric identification information and we recommend that you avoid uploading photos that contain sensitive personal data.

3.2 Automatically Collected Data

• Usage Data: IP address, device type, operating system, app interactions, and timestamps.
• Cookies & Tracking Technologies: We use cookies to analyze service usage (e.g., session management, preferences).

3.3 Data We Do NOT Collect

We never collect:

• Sensitive personal data (e.g., race, religion, health information, biometric data).
• Payment or financial information.
• Precise geolocation without explicit consent.

4. How We Use Your Data

We process your data for the following purposes:

8. How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account by navigating to [Me - Settings] and selecting [Delete Account]. You will need to confirm your choice a second time. Upon receiving your deletion request, we will immediately terminate your account. Once deleted, your personal information will be promptly removed from RateNow.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. We ensure transfers comply with applicable laws (e.g., GDPR Standard Contractual Clauses).

10. Policy Updates

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be notified via in-app alerts or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

Our Services are not directed to users under 13 (or higher age per local laws). If we discover underage usage, we will delete the account promptly.
